Michael Cheika - Distinguished Speaker Lunch

Merrion Hotel, Dublin

We are delighted to host Michael Cheika, Leinster Head Coach, as guest speaker for our next Distinguished Speaker Lunch.

Michael has enormous experience in both the business and sporting world. A former back-row forward, Michael won seven Premiership titles with Australian Club Randwick in a playing career that spanned from 1985-’99. He also later coached Randwick to Premiership success in 2003/’04. He has the sixth highest number of appearances (212 First Class and over 300 games in total) of all time in the Australian domestic club game. He played for the Australian Under-21 side, New South Wales, Castres Olympique and C.A.S.G. Paris in the French league and Italian side Rugby Livorno.

2007/'08 saw Cheika's Leinster team eventually reach the peak they had so narrowly missed out on the year before by winning the Magners League and in 2008/09 he guided Leinster to the Heineken Cup. He steps down as Leinster Coach at the end of the current season.

This will undoubtedly be a most popular event and members are reminded that places are strictly limited and offered on a first come first served basis. Tickets are available online for members only.
